Go Patriots!!!
Feb 5, 2012

It's Super Bowl Sunday today and I'm rooting for the Patriots to win. So I was thinking of the word Patriots and thought I'd look it up in the dictionary. Here is the difinition for Patriot: One who loves his or her country and supports its authority and interests. Then goes on to say the contention that true patriots will be willing to do anything for their country. My question is are you a Patriot? Do you really love this country enough to Pray for it? To take a stand for what our Forefathers stood on? which was the word of God. Yes I know that it's hard to believe but it was the word of God. That is what made this country so great, and so free. By standing on the word of God is one of the greatest things that has made this country so great. Not only is it God's grace and mercy that has set us free from sin but it had set this country free. You see where there is grace and mercy there is love. The best way you can show your true Patriotism this very day is to Pray and stand on the word of God. Don't let go of hope for this great nation to continue on as being just that...Great. America needs True Patriots. Are you one? Will you be one?

Remember: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. Psalm 33:12

GO PATRIOTS!!!

Oh the comfort we feel being in the Savior's arms. And the Peace we get being at Jesus' feet. May you find Rest, Peace and Love this Christmas knowing that our Father has you in the palm of His hand. And knowing the purpose of sending his son into the world was all because He loves you.

Merry Christmas

As White as Snow
Nov 11, 2011
Well I know it's been awhile since I've written. Can't really give an excuse. But, I'm back. Which reminds me of a story of a lost sheep that was once in Jesus' fold and was once walking strong and then wandered away. And Jesus says, Come back, Come to me. I'm still here for you, waiting and looking for you. In Isaiah 1:18 it says, "Come now, let's settle this," says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.
What a joy it is to be in the shepard's arms and be in his care. In Luke 15:2-6 it says, So Jesus told them this story: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.'
Are you feeling lost and tired of wandering without your shepard? Has it been awhile since you talked and walked with the Lord? Come back to your master and your loving fold. Find a place to go and worship and connect with believers. Cry out to your Lord. He's been searching for you. He's waiting for you with loving open arms.
In His Grace

Hope
Aug 19, 2011
Well, I don't need to tell anyone that our country is in trouble. Unless you've been living under a rock. As some people right now may be feeling some dispair about our country, our future, our children's future and the list goes on. I just wanted to remind us all of the word HOPE. As the scripture says in Psalm 131:3 "O Israel, put your hope in the Lord now and always." I would say, putting our name "America" in there. "O America, put your hope in the Lord now and always. Let's humble ourself unto the Lord, get on our knees daily and pray and keep praying. Prayer is our greatest weapon.
As I read these scriptures, I can't help myself but to think of America saying these words to God.
As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, "Where is this God of yours?" My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration! Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again my Savior and my God! Psalm 42:1-5
I believe in my heart that God does and will continue to bless America. As long as we Keep praying saints.
In His grip and care.

His Words Fall Like Rain
Jul 9, 2011
Do you every find yourself reading the word of God in a hurry? Well, sometimes that happens and I'll be the first with my hand up. But when we do we're not getting the full benefit of what the Lord is saying to our hearts. If we meditate on his word it will penetrate our hearts and minds. In Joshua 1:8 it says, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." But meditating on the word of God takes a little more time. And time these days is scarce. How do we meditate? We first praise the Lord. Then we pray and ask the Lord to guide us in his word. We would be better off reading and understand just a scripture then to read a whole book or even a paragraph. Reading the bible in a year is great if you just want to be reading. But those that really want more of the Lord and to really understand what he is saying to our hearts, should take it slow. The Lord wants us to really understand his love for us and it comes by meditating on his word. Read what he says to us in Deut 32: 2 "Let my teaching fall on you like rain: let my speech settle like dew. Let my words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants." Isn't our God an Awesome God! He loves us so much. Today let his words fall on you like rain.
Be blessed.

Afresh Each Morning
Jul 2, 2011
Ever say to yourself, I wish I could just start over? Well, you can. Cause each day is a new day in the Lord and as a believer in the Lord, that is all that matters. You can't go back now, nope, you can only go forward. Our mistakes in the past can be in our memory to use for the purpose for remembering not to do that again or for a testimony. But not to condem or punish ourselves. Know that God does not see your sins now, for those of us that are in Christ. This is a hard one to remember. So we beat ourselves up when God is saying, let it go...I have. Psalm 103:12 says, "He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west". Which I might add, never meet. When asking for forgiveness of our sins, we are then to have faith that through Jesus Christ and his blood shed on the cross, it is covered. That you are forgiven. That you are as white as snow. I love the scripture Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let's settle this," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool. Hallelujah! We've been forgiven! Thank you Jesus. And now we can move on and start afresh.
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lam 3:23
So go and have a beautiful new day

Trusting Brings Freedom and Joy!
Jun 19, 2011
Are you truly living free? I asked myself this question and the answer was, no. No, because I wasn't living in faith. Truly trusting in the Lord is one of the keys to living free in the Lord. I found myself struggling and stressing with everyday life because I was relying on how and what I could do. Not relying on God. If we have to struggle and stress out through life, then we aren't living under God's direction. We're not trusting that he will see us through. Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own uderstanding". Resting in knowing that the Lord means what he says. His word (the bible) is as gold, well even better then gold. Psalm 33:4 says, "For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does." When I'm not trusting in the Lord like I should and I'm stressing out big time, I just find myself exhausted. But the word tell us in Isaiah 40:31 "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus! In Psalm 5:11 it says, But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; Let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy." So joy comes with trusting in the Lord as well. Because we find refuge in our Lord and he protects and loves us, we can live in peace and joy. So let today be the starting of truly trusting wholeheartedly in our Heavenly Father. He loves you and I so much.
Be free today and everyday.
Blessings

Staying Focused
May 23, 2011
Do you ever find it hard to keep your focus on the prize? On your Godly goal in life? How about just keeping your eyes focused on our Lord? I'll have to admit, I have. Seems other so called more important things come up or a distraction here or there. Then the next thing you know you're tripping and stumbling and sometimes falling. But like most runners in a race, they just keep right on running til they hit the finish line. Which is the kind of runner you and I should strive to be. One that presses on. Recently I've found myself losing my focus on the goal and tripping and stumbling about. Staying focused on our Lord was never said to be easy. As I've heard that horses in a race have to put blinders on to stay focused so nothing distracts their attention. Sometimes we need to put blinders on so our focus doesn't get distracted away from Christ.
The Apostle Paul's goal was to be all that Christ had in mind for him to be. Phil 3:13-14 says, "No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Join me in being all that Christ wants you and I to be, by re-focusing our lives on the goal, which is Jesus, and being more like him.

Jesus Take the Wheel
Apr 8, 2011
I feel a lot of blogging coming on here in the next few months ahead. Change is in the air in my life. When I say the word "Moving" what is the first word that hits your mind? For me the first word is "Forward" but for some it may be "Backwards". I've come to the conclusion that it's all on how you perceive your life to be when in the hands of God. Having to move recently, I'll be very honest with you, moving from a house after 20 years into an apartment isn't an easy task. For one, there's not as much storage area to keep your things. 2 is now I have REALLLY close neighbors which means they'll be watching my every step. Ohhh, I feel some spiritual growth about to be happen here. But I say, Praise the Lord!! Oh I didn't feel that way at first. No, I felt Wow Lord, what's going on here. And I first looked at this move as a bummer. But I know my God is a great God. And He knows the plans he has for me. Jer 29:11 says, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Praise the Lord! The Lord truly watches over His flock.
Maybe you're feeling like your life has taken a u-turn for the worst because of life's situations and hard times. And you're heading down the road of wrong thinking. It really comes down to our thinking and our trust in the God for our lives. We have to Trust in the Lord to get us through and know that He, Jesus is truly in control of our lives. We have to "Let Go" and "Let Jesus take the wheel" (I think I hear a song here);) He'll get you back on the right road and make you feel so much better about your life. Remember He holds you in the palm of His hand. He knows all our needs. Praise the Lord!
Keep your hands OFF the wheel and let Jesus take over!

Enjoy your ride.
